Conveyor Belting, Conveyor Chains & Sprocket

Conveyor belting, conveyor chains, and sprockets form an assembly that transports items and materials in conveyor systems. Many types of conveyor systems exist for different applications. Bucket elevators run chain between two sprockets to vertically transport buckets of bulk material. Belt-driven roller conveyors use belts and rollers or ball transfers to transport larger and heavier items such as packages. Flat top conveyors use flat, interlocking pieces of chain to transfer items that require lower friction and higher impact resistance. Screw conveyors use a rotating helical screw blade to transport liquid or bulk materials.
